Janet Jackson's 'Unbreakable' Shoot
Janet Jackson turns back the clock with a stunning shoot for new LP 'Unbreakable.'

Janet Jackson’s comeback is coming together nicely. The pop icon recently christened her 11th LP Unbreakable, shared a promising snippet from the album and even blessed us with a new photo shoot. All we need now is a decent remix of drowsy lead single “No Sleeep” and has been taken care of by Two Inch Punch. The producer behind Sam Smith’s “Money On My Mind” and Years & Years’ “Desire” dropped an interpretation on SoundCloud earlier this month and it’s about to get an official release.

It’s not that surprising given the quality of T.I.P’s overhaul. He artfully breathes some life into Janet’s bedroom anthem without destroying Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis’ retro vibe. Instead of sounding like it was recorded twenty years ago, “No Sleeep” now references ’90s R&B with a dreamy, modern twist. I’ll take this over the original and that pointless J. Cole remix any day. Check it out below.
