Troye Sivan Teases ‘Wild’ EP With A Gripping Trailer And A Snippet Of The Title Track

Troye Sivan made the leap from YouTube sensation to bonfide pop star look effortless with major label debut EP TRXYE. The moody collection topped the iTunes download chart in 55 countries and peaked at an impressive number five on the Billboard 200. It also generated considerable critical acclaim, which raises the stakes for the follow-up even higher. Happily, it looks like the Australian singer/songwriter is more than up to the task.

The 20-year-old ramped up the buzz for his Wild EP (due September 4) over the weekend by releasing a gripping trailer (it portrays a rocky love affair between childhood friends). He also shared a snippet of the title track today (August 25). “Leave this blue neighborhood, never knew lovin’ could hurt this good,” Troye sings on a pop anthem that sounds considerably more upbeat than his previous material.

Wild boasts collaborations with New Zealand duo Broods and Australian rapper Tkay Maidza. Interestingly, he also worked with alt-pop princess Allie X and songwriter Leland on a track called “Bite.” Get better acquainted with Troye’s new project below.
