Lady Gaga's haunting anti-rape song will soundtrack a new PSA for college students.

Barbra Streisand friend and potential disco queen Lady Gaga is the cover star of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly for a preview of American Horror Story: Hotel. In the next installment of Ryan Murphy‘s camp-horror FX series, Gaga stars as Countess, “a glamorous socialite who attends art openings and fashion shows and maintains her looks not from a steady diet of kale but from imbibing human blood” — so she’s smeared in blood for the cover photo, bringing to mind her 2009 VMA performance of “Paparazzi.”

There’s also a love triangle involving her character, Matt Bomer‘s vampiric Donovan and male model Tristan, played by Finn Wittrock. Oh, and somewhere in there is The Addiction Demon, “who has no eyes or mouth but does wield a nasty, conical drillbit dildo,” according to EW.

In the interview, Gaga reveals her favorite AHS season is Freak Show, and she talks about how the role has allowed her to return to the creepier aesthetic of her earlier career that she has recently abandoned for a more straitlaced image.

“I’ve just been weeping while I’m here because I have returned to something I’ve believed in so much, which is the art of darkness,” she told the magazine. “It’s not something that everyone understands, but, for the people that do — Horror Story fans, my fans — there is a true connection between us, and it’s a language within itself.”

But the best tidbit from the story has to be the fact that if you get a call from Mother Monster, her hold music is “Bad Romance.”

AHS: Hotel premieres October 7 on FX. Head to EW for more on the cover story.
