A snippet of Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" has arrived online. Listen now.

UPDATE: Watch the official lyric video below. Apparently Skrillex also had a hand in the song’s production.

And it’s here! Justin Bieber’s much-hyped new single “What Do You Mean?” finally arrived this afternoon (August 27) via a leaked lyric video, which finds a pair of skater boys cruising around Los Angeles. As for the song? I stand by my assessment of the 30-second snippet. The PooBear-produced anthem is going to be massive. Sure, it sounds a little familiar (think “Where Are Ü Now” on downers), but that does nothing to diminish its appeal.

Vocally, the 21-year-old has never sounded better. We got at glimpse of what he’s capable of on that severely-underrated Journals LP, but Justin sounds like a heavily-tattooed angel on this. Throw in relatable lyrics (nobody understands what the hell is going on in relationships), the best use of a clock effect since Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?” and an instantly memorable chorus, and you’re left with the Canadian’s best single to date.
