Miley Cyrus speaks about Nicki Minaj's VMA complaints.

Ready or not, we’re right in the middle of another Miley Cyrus media takeover. Ever since it was announced she was hosting this weekend’s MTV VMAs, the singer and nipple advocate has been popping up everywhere, and we can only hope this publicity surge is leading to some new tunes, Wayne Coyne-related or not. After landing another SNL hosting gig and getting New York Times interview, her latest appearance is on the cover of Elle UK’s October 2015 issue.

The cover line under her name declares “Sexuality: The New Frontier,” and in the interview she continues advocating sexual and gender fluidity while talking about her dating life.

“I’m very open about it — I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship,” she told the mag. “I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.”

She also shared her thoughts on the gender binary: “I don’t relate to what people have made men and women into. I know I’m more extreme and badass than most guys, but that doesn’t make me a boy. And the other night I wore a pink dress because I felt cute. I can bake a cupcake and then go play hockey.”

When asked if she’d ever consider entering politics, Cyrus said that won’t happen as long as it’s a patriarchy. “The trouble with politics is that it’s all old men. I don’t want a man to do anything for me because they’re so disorganized. You need a woman in there taking care of shit.”

As for the shoot, she’s wearing a pretty sensible outfit for once, rocking a white power blazer (with no shirt under) that Little Boots would surely approve of. See Miley’s Instagram post with the cover below.
