It’s all official now — from the cover art that was doing the rounds online earlier this week to the rumored release date to the full tracklist, Janet Jackson‘s Unbreakable album details have finally been revealed, via the “No Sleeep” singer’s official site.

Janet’s eleventh studio album — and her first since 2008’s Discipline — will be released in just one month, on October 2. The album, which marks her return to collaborating with longtime producer legends Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, is available now on iTunes for pre-order.

“It’s wonderful to be creating again with Janet,” Jam and Lewis say in a joint statement posted on Jackson’s site. “From songwriting, producing, arranging, singing, dancing, acting, she deftly does it all and truly personifies the word artist. Unbreakable is a gift to all of her fans who have steadfastly stood by her. It is a subject for conversation, a plea for compassion, and a call for action from someone who’s come a long way, but’s got a long way to go, and has much to say about it. In other words, if you want to know what’s on her mind you only have to listen.”

Janet’s website also notes that the album will find the singer opening up for the first time about her brother Michael Jackson, following his death in 2009.

Notably absent, however, are the type of spoken interludes that have been sprinkled throughout many of the singer’s past albums, from 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814 up through 2008’s Discipline.
