Best known in America for surprise 1994 hit “Chains,” Aussie songstress Tina Arena remains a household at home and enjoys a big following in Europe thanks to a pair of French-language albums. The 47-year-old recently unveiled the sleek cover of new LP Eleven and kindly shared a snippet of the lead single. A soaring ballad that showcases the full range of the veteran diva’s powerful pipes, “I Want To Love You” is a goosebump-inducing delight.

This is exactly the kind of song that (fellow belter) Celine Dion should be doing — adult-contemporary pop with a sophisticated and modern twist. But it’s not all easy listening. Tina delivers an upbeat-pop moment on autobiographical buzz track “Overload,” which documents her long journey in show biz. Both gems are available now as instant downloads when you pre-order Eleven. The songbird’s very promising album drops October 30 in the US.

Listen to a snippet of “I Want To Love You”:

I Want To Love You (Lyric Snippet)Today’s the day…Eleven starts its journey! It’s my Eleventh album & it’s available for pre-order now. It was a joyous album to make & it was written relatively quickly (I promised myself there wouldn’t be 11 years between English albums this time )This is a very personal album for me, mostly recorded in Australia & France… with some tracks recorded in Sweden & England. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to release new music to the world but I hope you enjoy these first songs from Eleven & I’m looking forward to playing the songs for you live soon. x TinaPre order here //tinaarena.lnk.to/Eleven
