Britney Spears’ Vegas Residency Officially Got Extended For Two More Years
It’s official: Britney Spears will be headlining Las Vegas through 2017. The star’s Piece Of Me Sin City residency was expected to be extended for another two years, but then in August Spears threw fans a curveball, saying she was torn about the prospect of continuing to perform in Vegas past this year. “I don’t really know what I want to do,” she said at the time. Well, something swayed her in recent weeks, because last night (September 9) she announced during the show that she signed on for a couple more years of desert gigs.
“I have some big news tonight,” she said during the performance. “I’m gonna be in Vegas for two more years!” Guess album nine is coming along faster than expected.
