Ellie Goulding Teases New Single “On My Mind” With Mysterious Gif
Ellie Goulding (kind of) announced new single “On My Mind” on Instagram this morning (September 14). The Brit posted a mysterious, semi-topless gif with the date September 17. There’s no mention of a song title, but the 28-year-old has already filmed a video for the track and confirmed its impending release in interviews. “The first single? I really like it, it’s very different for me,” she told Capital FM in late August. “But I think it’s a good different. Max Martin [produced it].”
The “Love Me Like You Do” hitmaker even revealed the video concept. “Well it involves me and another girl who’s really hot and we’re sort of like Thelma & Louise,” she explained. “I guess [you’ll see it] in about a month’s time. I’m very excited about it.” Ellie previously said that her third LP will be released before the end of the year, describing it as “bigger… whether that means it’s more adventurous, or a bit more ambitious, or a bit more daring, I don’t know.” See the gif below and brace yourself for the Halycon diva’s new era!
