Among the midst of heavyweight pop stars that Idolator typically covers, we occasionally stumble upon some pretty awesome musical gems that emerge from the usual realm. The latest comes from Liam Horne, whose “Black And White” single we are premiering on Idolator today (September 16).

The track finds the 20-year-old Scottish singer/songwriter brooding over a relationship that is slowly unraveling. His high-pitched vocals are like a smooth caress on the song’s stomping, electric guitar-heavy production — a combination that will definitely have you tugging at your heartstrings!

Liam Horne first got his big break when he co-produced Justin Bieber‘s “Out Of Town Girl” from 2012’s Believe, as well as working with acts like Pixie Lott and Neon Hitch. The artist is currently working on an EP, which is expected to drop at the end of this year.
