Ariana Grande Kicks Off 'Moonlight' Era
Ariana Grande's new single was revealed at the iHeart Media Music Summit.

“Focus On Me” was announced as the lead single from Ariana Grande’s Moonlight LP at the iHeartMedia Music Summit in early August. Since then, however, the title has been changed to “Focus.” The 22-year-old confirmed the abbreviation — and the track’s release date — on Twitter yesterday (September 16). And fans won’t have to wait too long — the pint-sized pop star’s next hit arrives on October 30. Pencil that in your diary!

What else do we know about the song? Well, it was co-written by Ariana, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Savan Kotecha and Peter Svensson. That’s the same line-up that created My Everything highlight “Love Me Harder.” With Rihanna in R8 hell, it looks like the donut-licking diva has taken over as pop’s most productive artist. If the album drops before the end of 2015, Moonlight will be Ari’s third offering in as many years. It will be interesting to see how it fares against heavily-promoted LPs from pop contemporaries Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. See her tweet below.
