Pentatonix Announce Self-Titled LP
Pentatonix will release their first album of original material in October.

Well, this is a little unexpected! Rising rapper Tink, who is being mentored by Timbaland and was chosen among XXL’s 2015 Freshman Class, lands her first major feature on a Pentatonix track. The 20-year-old jumps on the remix of “Can’t Sleep Love” and sounds surprisingly at home in their trademark a cappella soundscape. “Rejected heart is like a veto,” she raps in her punchy verse. “You can’t last if your love is incognito.”

“Can’t Sleep Love” is the lead single from Pentatonix’s first album of original material (due October 16). Expectations for the LP are high given the massive success of their previous releases. Their third EP PTX, Vol. III landed at number five on the Billboard 200 last year, while seasonal offering That’s Christmas To Me did even better — peaking at number two and selling more than one million copies.
