Madonna Performs “Ghosttown” For First Time On Rebel Heart Tour: Watch
Madonna thrilled audience members at her September 19 Rebel Heart Tour stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center when she dragged silver-haired CNN daddy Anderson Cooper on stage for the “Unapologetic Bitch” banana treatment. But she had another surprise up her designer sleeve that evening, in the form of “Ghosttown.”
The second single from Madge’s Rebel Heart LP had been curiously absent from the setlist during the tour’s first four nights. And Madonna even told the Brooklyn crowd, “Here’s the deal — I haven’t actually rehearsed this with my band. That is the truth. So, if I make mistakes, will you forgive me?”
Though she and her band winged it, it didn’t really matter; Madonna’s fans went nuts over the performance of the ballad, and the singer was so touched that she began reaching into the crowd and shaking her audience members’ hands.
