George Ezra Performs New Single “Blame It On Me” On ‘Today’: Watch
George Ezra broke big internationally in 2014 with debut LP Wanted On Voyage. The album delivered breakthrough hit “Budapest” (it peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year) and has sold more than one million copies in the UK alone. It’s time to roll out the next single stateside and the Brit is going with “Blame It On Me” — a wise choice given its dreamy tone and sing-along chorus.
The 22-year-old delivered a typically accomplished rendition of the song on The Today Show this morning — showing off those deep vocals and jamming along with his band. The rollicking folk-pop anthem isn’t your typical breakfast TV fare, so he’s sure to have made quite the impression on viewers. “Blame It On Me” has already been a top 10 hit in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Watch George in action up top.
