Filous' "Dawn": Idolator Premiere
We excited to premiere the title track from filous' 'Dawn' EP. Listen now.

James Hersey’s “Coming Over” has a life of its own at this point. The cheerful tune has already amassed a whopping 10 million plays on SoundCloud (in part due to the popularity of Dillon Francis & Kygo’s remix), while filous’ dreamy overhaul has racked up 4.6 million streams on Spotify. We’re excited to premiere the video of the latter version, which finds a loved-up couple sharing intimate moments. It’s simple, but very effective.

With the success of similarly mellow remixes (Robin Schulz’s interpretations of Mr Probz’s “Waves” and Lily Wood & The Prick’s “Prayer In C,” for starters), it’s easy to imagine radio programmers taking a shine to James’ serotonin-raising earworm. The Vienna-based singer/songwriter released his debut LP Clarity in Germany and Austria earlier this year. If “Coming Over” takes off, it’s only a matter of time before it arrives stateside. Watch the video up top.
