Hear A Snippet Of Sia’s “Alive” One Day Before Its Release
Well, it looks like we’re getting Sia‘s new single “Alive” one day early. All indications were pointing to a September 25 release for the track, but a new teaser previewing 14 seconds of the song flashes “9.24.15” onto the screen, apparently because Sia “couldn’t wait any longer.” That means we’ll get to hear the track she originally wrote for Adele tomorrow instead of Friday.
In the short clip, Sia can be heard repeating “I’m still breathing,” as her voice cracks before the percussion crashes in for what seems to be a huge “I’m alive” refrain.
“Alive” is the lead single off Sia’s album next album, This Is Acting, which is entirely comprised of songs she wrote for other artists that ultimately got rejected and weren’t recorded.
