La Toya Drops 28-Year-Old Track
Ever the innovator, La Toya Jackson is dropping remixes of a very old track.

Samantha Fox is making a comeback! The 49-year-old plans to release a cover of Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” in the not-too-distant future. An extended snippet of the track surfaced online this morning (September 25) and it sounds like a high-camp delight. It’s a little (ok, a lot) cheesy, but something tells me the Brit didn’t set out to win a bunch of Grammys with this one. It’s just a cute gift for fans, who have been waiting for new music since 2011.

Interestingly, the top-heavy diva has covered Donna once before. She interpreted the disco legend’s 1975 classic “Love To Love You Baby” on 1991 LP Just One Night. That’s the album with cult favorite “(Hurt Me, Hurt Me) But The Pants Stay On!” Samantha first found fame as a glamor model in the early ’80s, before kicking off a surprisingly successful career in music. The pin-up landed three top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 including “Touch Me (I Want Your Body)” and “Naughty Girls (Need Love Too).” Listen to a snippet of her new single below.
