Hear Charli XCX, Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen & More On Free Bleachers Cover Album

Cover albums are very #ontrend right now following Ryan Adams‘ full-length 1989 cover (and who could forget The Flaming Lips‘ Sgt. Pepper’s cover LP? Everyone? Oh.). And now Bleachers will be next in line to see a full album of their material get lovingly recreated. Sort of. Jack Antonoff has gotten some of his pop star friends to cover each track from Strange Desire — some just handled vocals and Antonoff reworked the song, others approached it as a true cover — for a compilation cover version of the album called Terrible Thrills Vol. 2. 

We’ve already heard Sia‘s rendition of “Like A River Runs,” which shows up on this release, and she appears alongside Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen, former tour mate Charli XCX, Sara Bareilles, MØ and even Brooke Candy.
