Lady Gaga’s New Album Is “Really Fantastic” According To Elton John
Lady Gaga should hire Elton John as her full-time publicist. After spinning “Bad Romance” on his Beats 1 Radio show, the rock legend took the opportunity to plug Mother Monster’s new LP. “She’s in the throws of writing her new album,” the 68-year-old said. “I’ve heard some of it and it’s absolutely fabulous. She’s been doing really different things. She did The Sound Of Music on the Oscars, she did the tour with Tony Bennett, plus the record and now she’s in American Horror Story.
“So, she’s been doing lots of different things, but I can tell you I’ve heard a couple of things from that new album and it’s really, really fantastic.” That’s all very reassuring. After the commercial disappointment of ARTPOP, Lady Gaga really needs to get it right on LG5. We know that she’s working on new tunes with The Fame producer RedOne, so that’s definitely a step in the right direction. Listen to Elton’s commentary here.
