Future & Chris Brown Jump On Miguel’s “Simple Things” Remix: Listen
Miguel‘s Wildheart sort of came and went with little fanfare this summer, which is a shame because it is a great, cohesive full-length. Perhaps to remind people, Miguel has dropped a remix of bonus track “Simple Things” featuring Future and Chris Brown (which now doubles the amount of Wildheart features, since the original album only had a pair of collaborators).
Miguel and Brook Dleau handled the new production for “Simple Things Re-Lit,” but it’s considerably un-lit. Instead, it’s a swirling and simmering arrangement built on crunchy guitars, as the three dudes sing about finding a girl to blaze with. It’s also the brightest thing we’ve heard Future on in quite some time.
