Selena Gomez Performs “Same Old Love” On ‘The Ellen Show’: Watch
After a slow start (justice for “Good For You”), Selena Gomez has ramped up the Revival promo to mark the album’s release. The 23-year-old dropped by The Ellen Show to talk about her new opus and then thrilled fans with the first televised performance of “Same Old Love.” She used the same set-up as the Revival Event — beginning with a sparse solo introduction, before being joined by dancers. It’s a formula that works, so why mess with it?
Co-written by Charli XCX, “Same Old Love” is shaping up to be another big hit for Selena. The track is slowly climbing the pop radio airplay chart (it’s currently at number 22) and just re-entered the top 10 on iTunes. With the innovative video finally hitting YouTube on Wednesday (October 7), expect to see a rather large jump on the Billboard Hot 100 next week! Watch the pop star’s impressive performance up top.
