With buzz mounting for Ariana Grande’s new single “Focus” (due October 30), you would be forgiven for forgetting that she recently dropped a duet with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. The unlikely duo team up for “E Più Ti Penso,” the lead single from the 57-year-old’s Cinema LP. Essentially a covers album, the collection is comprised of operatic interpretations of cuts from movie soundtracks. (The Ari collaboration originates from 1984 film Once Upon A Time In America).

It’s certainly a different sound for the pint-sized diva, but she sounds convincing enough alongside the vocal great. Ariana shared a snippet of the video (below) on her Facebook page this afternoon (October 9) and it looks like a fairly simply affair with the duo performing the ballad superimposed over a city background. The video drops October 13 on VEVO.
