The legendary production duo discuss the 30th anniversary of 'Control' & Janet's legacy.

A major congratulations is in order for Janet Jackson, whose Unbreakable album has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. This is not a new feat for the musical diva, as the latest project marks her seventh No. 1 album chart-topper.

According to Nielsen MusicUnbreakable sold 109,000 copies opening week (116,000 with streams). Along with this, Janet has also broken another record. She is now the third act to have a #1 album in the last four decades: ’80s, ’90s, ’00s and ’10s. The other two artists to achieve this are Barbra Streisand and Bruce Springsteen, so the “BURNITUP!” singer is in great company!

Billboard states that “among women with the most #1 albums, Jackson has the third-most leaders. Only Barbra Streisand (with 10) and Madonna (eight) have more.” Recently, Janet was nominated for the 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and added a third leg to her Unbreakable World Tour.
