New Find: Vallis Alps' "Young"
Australian duo Vallis Alps deliver a dreamy delight with new single "Young." Listen.

Lazyboy Empire’s “Vampire” is easily the weirdest track to arrive in my inbox this month. An ode to creatures of the night, the mysterious artist’s debut single is an ominous, sax-filled groove that never veers into kitsch territory. Which is impressive given the True Blood-tastic lyrics. “Give me something real, something more than love,” the vocalist pleads. “Something I can feel, I want to suck your blood.”

With Halloween on the horizon, it’s hard imagine a better addition to your fright night playlist than “Vampire.” However, it has the potential to hang around a lot longer than October. Lazyboy Empire’s anthem has a nastier hook than Candyman and the best use of sax since, well, probably forever. Check out a still from the gruesome video (due shortly) up top and listen to the track below.
