Nao Invites Inevitable Taylor Swift Mashup With New Song “Bad Blood”
British alt-R&B singer and Disclosure collaborator Nao just dropped her new song “Bad Blood.” And with a title like that, it’s either the ultimate flex at Taylor Swift, or she’s just hoping someone will make a mashup of their two “Bad Blood” songs that goes viral. And those are the only options it simply cannot be mere coincidence that is not at all how hot takes work get outta here with that nonsense, people.
Anyway, the song is another slinky future-soul offering from Nao, whose vocals run through almost as many octaves as the taffy-like electronics here. According to Pitchfork, Grades handled production on the song, which serves as the first single from Nao’s untitled debut album, set to drop next year. Hear it below.
