New Find: Lazyboy Empire's "Vampire"
Lazyboy Empire impress with sax-y, bloodsucking anthem "Vampire." Listen now.

Lazyboy Empire’s “Vampire” is the catchiest ode to creatures of the night since Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” A hypnotic, sax-filled groove with bloodthirsty lyrics, the mysterious artist’s debut single is well on its way to becoming a viral sensation. The track has already racked up more than 100,000 streams on SoundCloud since premiering last week — an impressive achievement considering his, her or their desire for anonymity.

The video surfaced online today (October 23) and it’s a suitably gory affair. Directed by Isaac Ravishankara, the twisted visual finds a vamp (played by the charismatic Dugan O’Neal) walking the streets of Los Angeles in search of fresh meat. After quenching his thirst, our bloodsucking hero whips out a saxophone and busts a move. It’s hilarious, infinitely shareable and arrives just in time for Halloween. Watch up top.
