Felix Jaehn Interview
We speak to Felix Jaehn about that "Cheerleader" remix and his original music. Read on.

While Felix Jaehn is still best-known stateside for remixing OMI’s “Cheerleader” into a tropical, chart-conquering earworm, he has already followed it up with an international smash of his own. The 21-year-old’s Jasmine Thompson-voiced cover of “Ain’t Nobody” went top 10 in Germany, France and Australia (among other countries) and its follow up, “Book Of Love,” is shaping up to be another hit.

The German DJ explained how the song came together when I interviewed him in September. “I met Polina at a club in Paris,” Felix explained. “She’s based in LA, but she was in Europe for songwriting at the time… she gave me her email address and we just started chatting.” The pair reunite in the visual, which finds the DJ walking around a creepy carnival while the glamorous diva performs the track on bumper cars. It’s the music video equivalent of a David Lynch film! Watch up top.
