Chance The Rapper Stans For Kelly Rowland
Chance The Rapper thinks Kelly Rowland was the prettiest Destiny's Child diva.

The last time we heard from Kelly Rowland she was singing a creepy duet with a teenager. Chance The Rapper’s favorite diva turned that into an unpleasant memory when she threw “Dumb” on SoundCloud last night (October 26). Produced by Point Guard Of 1500 Or Nothin’, the bouncy anthem is a slick ode to the 34-year-old’s sex appeal and bedroom prowess (“I rode that thing like a solider”). It’s a lot of fun, but sounds like a bonus track from 2013 LP Talk A Good Game.

While “Dumb” isn’t going to win Kelly any new fans, it’s a potent reminder that pop is a better place with her sassy vocals and effortless swagger. I just hope the “Kisses Down Low” queen returns with a sound that sets her apart from the other leading ladies of R&B. She shared a promising snippet back in August, which found her experimenting with stripped back, tropical rhythms. That might be a little too out of the box, but the pop veteran needs to come back swinging. Listen to her latest track below.
