Alessia Cara Nails It On ‘The Ellen Show’: Watch Her Perform “Here”
It’s been a big week for Alessia Cara. The 19-year-old unveiled the tracklist of debut LP Know-It-All (due November 13), shared an excellent new track called “Wild Things” and performed her breakthrough hit “Here” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The Canadian was on-point vocally and is continuing to grow as a performer. There has been a huge improvement in her stage craft — even since the newcomer’s Today Show performance in late September.
“Here” is shaping up to be a huge hit for Alessia. The passive-aggressive loner anthem is currently perched at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and should climb a lot higher in the coming weeks given its growing popularity with pop radio programmers. As such, the Four Pink Walls diva is tight race with Elle King and Tori Kelly for the title of biggest break-out artist of 2015. May the best woman win!
