Plenty of pop stars have tackled the National Anthem over the decades (the most notable being Whitney Houston‘s version in 1991), and the latest artist to sing the iconic tune is Demi Lovato!

The “Confident” starlet was invited to the World Series Game Four in New York on Saturday (October 31) to perform “The Star Spangled Banner,” and she nailed it. Looking elegant in an all-red skirt suit, a poised Demi sung the tune with ease. As she belted lyrics about the rocket’s red glare, fireworks bursted in the air along with an explosion of applause. How’s that for patriotism?

Demi Lovato is currently promoting her Confident album, as well as her upcoming summer Future Now tour with music friend Nick Jonas. Watch Demi sing “The Star Spangled Banner” below.
