Demi Lovato Delivers A “Confident” Performance On ‘Swedish Idol’
Demi Lovato is currently in Europe promoting fifth LP Confident. She performed the titled track on Swedish Idol tonight (November 6) and absolutely nailed it. The 23-year-old’s vocals were on-point (belting the song out in front of a microphone instead of busting out the choreography was a wise move) and she looked adorable in her black turtleneck sweater and spotted skirt. I can’t wait for the American promo to start in earnest.
Produced by Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, “Confident” ranks alongside “Cool For The Summer” as the catchiest track on Demi’s album. The track peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week, but could climb a lot higher with an AMA performance on the way. It’s still gaining adds on pop radio and is racking up those YouTube views thanks to the Robert Rodriguez-directed video. Watch her in action up top.
