Watch Sia Perform “Alive” & “Bird Set Free” On ‘Saturday Night Live’
So here we have Sia performing two scrapped Adele songs on Saturday Night Live, a couple weeks before Adele will be performing a pair of actual new Adele songs on the very same stage. Anyway, just an odd little tidbit that got totally subsumed by the fact that the episode was hosted by the controversial Donald Trump.
For Sia’s first song on the November 7 episode she performed her This Is Acting lead single. As usual, she was rocking a wig that obscured most of her face while a dancer gesticulated next to her. But this time she was backed by a choir that gave everything an extra oomph.
For her second appearance she performed “Bird Set Free,” with the choir swapped out for a pianist. It was a more delicate number, but it was contrasted with particularly manic interpretive dancing. Check that out below.
