Grimes‘ killer new album Art Angels is full of all kinds of off-kilter melodies and propulsive beats, but the one song that was clearly designed to work her crowds into a dance frenzy was “Venus Fly,” which features Janelle Monaé and a laser-synth breakdown that rivals anything Major Lazer has put out. And at her concert in Atlanta last night (November 11), Grimes was joined by Monaé and they performed the high-energy collab.
You can see Monaé working the crowd and Grimes darting to the front of the stage to dance with her, before she runs back to her fortress of keyboards and synths for the huge drop.
