On Idolator’s end, we interviewed JR JR, A Great Big World and Kylie Minogue, did a backtracking for the 10th anniversary of Madonna‘s Confessions On A Danceflooand premiered BROADHURST‘s “Little Lover” video.

And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic music world. Read some of the best and shadiest comments below!

:: Allen Saint James shared memories on Madonna’s ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’ Turns 10: Backtracking: “This was my 1st Madonna album after moving to nyc and i felt at the time it was made just for me, to give me the new York disco moments I had craved since my birth in 78. Baby we can…..”

:: While I tow the line had this prediction: “Until, 10 years from now, someone writes of all the virtues of ‘rebel heart’ and how underrated and misunderstood it was when it was released. Blah blah blah. She has been a pretty consistently good pop-music maker. Now people love Erotica and American Life, both kind of dismissed when released.”

:: tridus was spot on for ‘Jem And The Holograms’ Yanked From Theaters After 2 Weeks: It’s Flop Time, Synergy!: “Take a franchise aimed at the people who watched it while growing up, and do everything possible in the movie to alienate that group and their kids. This is a strategy so genius only Hollywood could have come up with it.”

:: Jay had this to say on Missy Elliott Returns With “WTF (Where They From)” Video Featuring Pharrell: Watch: “I went in expecting to be disappointed and underwhelmed but left feeling pretty pleased. Is it her best? No, it’s not, but it’s far from her worst. I feel like Missy’s guest verses over the last decade have been kind of spotty so I was expecting the worst, but I’m now anticipating to see what else she has up her sleeve.”

:: Ice Warrior made a good point on Ariana Grande Hits The Studio With Max Martin, Talks New LP ‘Moonlight’: “Music in general is getting really unoriginal these days – everyone is going for the same old producers and writers. Why not bring a bit of edge and do something fresh?”

:: drew was witty on Erykah Badu Dedicates “Phone Down” To Drake: Listen: “The only appropriate follow up to this is for Drake to cover this with his version titled ‘I’mma put my phone down.’ If he doesn’t, that’s cool because this song alone is giving me LIFE.”

:: Lastly, Rubster had this quick yet funny quip on Watch Puff Daddy Show Off His Diddy Bop In New “Workin” Video: “This really isn’t workin for me.”
