The Idolator fave talks her Christmas album, festive memories and returning to dance.

On November 13, BBC’s annual Children in Need telethon raised over £37m to benefit disadvantaged youth — a new record. Stars like Helen Mirren and Sherlock‘s Martin Freeman were there to help raise awareness, while the musical performances helped keep spirits high.

Selena Gomez performed her second Revival single “Same Old Love,” with male dancers parting like the Red Sea whenever she walked past. Ellie Goulding sang “Army,” the uplifting Delirium anthem that she wrote for her best friend. But the most fitting performance was by Jess Glynne. Her touching lyrics in “Take Me Home,” which give thanks to whoever cares for her when she is at her most vulnerable, made it easy to see why BBC chose it as the official Children in Need single.
