All four Idolator editors rate and review Adele's massive comeback single "Hello."

Adele‘s comeback single “Hello” has been dominating the charts and radio ever since its October release, so it was only a matter of time until other artists decided to cover the massive tune. Demi Lovato recently tried her hand at it over the weekend, and today (November 17) we are premiering Spencer Sutherland‘s rousing rendition of the UK chanteuse’s tune.

For his cover, Spencer manages to tone down the original song’s booming feel and create a tender, soulful version that gives even more life to the heartstring-tugging lyrics. His feathery falsettos, additional new lyrics and melodic piano production makes this remix even more pleasant to the ears.

Since releasing his new acoustic EP Unveiled last January, Spencer has released renditions of popular tunes like Selena Gomez‘s “Same Old Love” & Drake‘s “Hotline Bling.” Get into Spencer’s “Hello” cover below, and read what it had to say about the tune while you’re at it.

“As soon as I heard ‘Hello’ I had to cover it — Adele’s voice is amazing in fact, un-paralleled, and the lyrics and how she delivered them told a story so familiar to me I actually FELT them. When I was filming this song I was thinking about a similar situation in my life. In fact, I’m sure her lyrical story struck a chord with everyone.”
