Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” Duet Arrives In Full: Listen
After dropping a video teaser for new single “I Know What You Did Last Summer” last night (November 17), Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello‘s duet (which has no correlation to the horror film franchise) has now arrived in full.
The fierce guitar-strumming mid-tempo revs up the emotion as Shawn is completely torn apart about Camila’s seemingly unfaithful ways. “It’s tearing me apart/ She’s slipping away / Am I just hanging on to all the words she used to say?/ The pictures on her phone/ She’s not coming home,” he croons over the fast-paced tune — which has a slight “Ain’t No Sunshine” influence — while the Fifth Harmony starlet pleads to make the relationship right once again.
