Justin Bieber's 'Purpose': Album Review
Read our thoughts on the singer's most vulnerable album to date.

We’ve finally reached the weekend, Idolator readers! The past few days were filled with major music moments, which kicked off with Lorde and Sam Smith performing alongside Disclosure on Saturday Night Live.

Artists like Coldplay and Madonna called for peace after the Paris attacksDemi Lovato covered Adele‘s “Hello,” and Zayn Malik covered The Fader‘s December issue.

On Idolator’s end, we interviewed The Knocks, Chairlift and Sawyer Fredericks, reviewed albums by Justin Bieber, One Direction and Adele, and shared our experience at The Weeknd and Niykee Heaton‘s concerts.

And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic music world. Read some of the best and shadiest comments below!

:: Emanuel got everyone together on Justin Bieber’s ‘Purpose’: Album Review: “Children is my favorite song on the album, great message. ‘What about the children?’ But I’m not surprised most adults don’t like it. Go listen to your dumb party songs about getting drunk and drink your alcohol so that you can create some more children you’ll call ‘accidents’ and then neglect them. You dimwits. Use your brains every once in a while, it’s actually good for you. At least we know which of us don’t have the heart Justin asks for in the song.”

:: Jay shared his opinion on One Direction’s ‘Made In The A.M.’: Album Review: “I think the album is stronger than ‘Four’ and ‘Midnight Memories.’ The album from beginning to end is worth listening to, and that’s something that kind of lacked in the last two releases. I was hoping that perhaps since this is goodbye (for now) that they would have recorded something in the vein of ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ or ‘Live Like We’re Young.’ That would have been a nice treat to fans who have stuck around all this time.”

:: He also had this quip on Chris Brown Unveils The Cover And Tracklist Of New LP ‘Royalty’: “He names his album after his daughter yet judging from the song titles he might as well be referring to himself. And thats not really a compliment.”

:: AXG had some nostalgia on Adele’s ’25’ Will Not Be Available To Stream: “Love this! It’s giving me all the feels of when people actually bought records, and you could look forward to all the big chart debuts and records. I’ll be at Target early in the morning.”

:: drew was so over it on Justin Timberlake And Timbaland Want To Record A Country Album: “God please no…. Stick to R&B please”

:: Lastly, Millennial Discussion had this gem on Niykee Heaton Ups The Tempo With Catchy Banger “Best Thing Ever”: “Britney gets DJ Mustard. This girl gets…DJ Mustard channeling. It’s like when you tell your mom you want Oreos and she comes back with chocolate creme O’s.”
