Disclosure & Lorde’s “Magnets” Remixed By Jon Hopkins: Listen

Disclosure are releasing a remix package of their Lorde collab “Magnets,” and the duo kicked off the project by dropping their own new “V.I.P.” version of the track earlier this month. And today (November 24) they’ve debuted another version, this one by British producer Jon Hopkins.

The Coldplay collaborator has turned the slinky dance-pop song into a nearly unrecognizable, multi-suite epic featuring twinkling electronica and a sub-bass hum. Lorde’s role in particular has been obliterated, with her vocals used as chirps and ambient chants.
