Remember how everyone thought it was so off-brand when Coldplay emerged with a neon-splattered pop concept album that had a Rihanna feature on it? It turns out they can get a lot goofier than that. A lot. Everything about A Head Full Of Dreams screams self-parody, from the President Obama sample to the CGI ape music video to a song inspired by Flo Rida. And now comes the collab between Chris Martin and his ex Gwyneth Paltrow, “Everglow.”

Paltrow has some faint backing vocals on the piano-laden ballad, and it closes with Martin singing “So if you love someone, you should let them know, and the light that you left me will everglow.” Anyone who thought “Fix You” was an excruciatingly corny peek into their relationship might wanna skip this one.
