Adele's blockbuster single gets a dance floor makeover from Dave Aude.

Calvin Harris is the world’s highest paid DJ, thanks to high club and festival fees, royalties from his 2014 album Motion and his seven-figure gig as a Giorgio Armani model. He has sold 35 million singles worldwide. Yet, despite his ubiquity, he had yet to perform on U.S. television — until last night, anyway. To close the December 11 episode of The Tonight Show, Calvin recruited London dance act Disciples to perform their 2015 single “How Deep Is Your Love.”

While host Jimmy Fallon hyped up the crowd with the promise of lasers, this late night TV performance wasn’t a ’90s rave come to life, but the chill room at the eleventh hour. The crowd’s view of Calvin and the majority of Disciples was obscured by tasteful vertical lasers forming a cage, as vocalist Ina Wroldsen stood at the forefront, keeping her composure throughout.
