Z100’s Jingle Ball in New York was a big night in pop music.
Shortly after Vine superstar Shawn Mendes led a singalong to “Stitches,” rapper Fetty Wap took a similar approach to performing “679” — not because he was on acoustic guitar, but because no one could resist chiming along. Camila Cabello joined Shawn to sing their anguished duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer” before she and Fifth Harmony took the stage, kicking off their high-octane set with an a cappella performance of “Silent Night.” (‘Tis the season!)
Demi Lovato fell as she tripped over her mic stand to end “Cool for the Summer,” though with how she smiled as she kicked her legs into the air, she clearly didn’t mind. And, while Selena Gomez performed mostly from her new album Revival, she also joined Zedd to perform their True Colors collaboration “I Want You To Know” together for the first time, finally.
