Watch One Direction’s Final Performance Before Their Hiatus On ‘X Factor UK’
Towards the end of summer, One Direction revealed to fans that they will be taking a break after the release of their fifth Made In The A.M. album. It’s been a few months since the major announcement, but the day Directioners have been dreading has come.
Yesterday (December 13), the boy band performed on The X Factor UK‘s season finale (Louisa Johnson was crowned the winner) — which is fitting, as the show was the jumpstart to their career. 1D decided to sing “History” (a song dedicated to their loyal fans) and “Infinity” off their current LP as photos of Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam from years’ past flashed behind them.
The boys also uploaded a Facebook video thanking their fans for the support over the years. “This is just a massive massive thank you to all of our fans obviously you guys made all this happen for us and we can’t believe the way you have supported us over the past five years,” Liam stated.
