2015's Shade-Fests
2015 was a powerful year for music, but drama didn’t exactly take a backseat!

Travi$ Scott has had a bizarre 2015. The Yeezus architect stepped out of the shadows with his debut album Rodeo, where he invites the likes of Future2 Chainz and Justin Bieber into his dark, twisted world.

Last week Scott also pleaded guilty to charges of reckless conduct at this year’s Lollapalooza, an event that made local evening news. But the producer-rapper is closing out the year among accusations that he is behind the endless delays surrounding Rihanna‘s Anti, supposedly because of how he is trying to seize creative control.

With the two surprise tracks he dropped last night (December 30), however, Travi$ is putting the focus back on the music.

One, “A-Team,” is actually a solo track, though Travi$ howls in seemed isolation but also extends his hand to invite listeners into his winners’ circle. The other, “Wonderful,” is the closest that he has come to delivering a banger by pop standards. That track features The Weeknd as his partner-in-crime during a night of, what else, delirium and total mayhem — rolling into a club 100 deep, asses being worked like a stripper’s, bitches biting the Weeknd (and he loves it).

Moreover, Travi$ acts like he cannot be bothered by just about anything else. Listen below.
