People’s Choice Awards 2016: View The Music Winners’ List & Performances
The 2016 award season kicked off with the People’s Choice Awards last night (January 6), which took place live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. Hosted by Glee‘s Jane Lynch, the fan-voted show commemorated some of the biggest names in television, film and pop music.
Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night, as she snagged awards for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Pop Artist. Ed Sheeran scored Favorite Male Artist, while Justin Bieber‘s “What Do You Mean?” took home a trophy for Favorite Song. Another notable PCAs win was Fifth Harmony for Favorite Group and Madonna for Favorite Music Icon.
As for the performances, Shawn Mendes took the stage to sing “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Camila Cabello, Jason Derulo wooed the crowd and The Voice winner Jordan Smith performed with composer David Foster.
