Lady Gaga Wins Best Actress In A TV Movie Or Limited Series At The 2016 Golden Globes
Lady Gaga can add award-winning actress to her resume. Mother Monster nabbed the gong for Best Actress In A TV Movie Or Limited Series at tonight’s (January 10) Golden Globes in Los Angeles for her performance in American Horror Story: Hotel. The 29-year-old’s win was something of a surprise given that she was up against heavy-hitters like Felicity Huffman (American Crime) and Kirsten Dunst (Fargo).
The ARTPOP diva’s role on the show has also affected her music. “The show has really affected my voice,” Mother Monster told James Franco in an interview for V Magazine’s Spring Preview Issue. “There’s a tremendous freedom and a recklessness, but there’s also a sophistication in the show. There’s a lot of liberation, but it’s a very chic liberation.” Watch her acceptance speech below.
