Carly Rae Jepsen and Butch Walker will sing the theme for the 'Full House' reunion.

FOX’s upcoming Grease: Live will feature a new song written for Carly Rae Jepsen.

The E•MO•TION singer-songwriter plays Frenchy, who is the only Pink Lady who doesn’t perform an original number in both the 1971 Broadway production and the 1978 hit film. In the latter, Frankie Avalon sings “Beauty School Dropout” to Frenchy as Teen Angel, and it’s highly likely that Boyz II Men will do the same when they reprise that role for the FOX telecast. So for Frenchy to have not just one, but possibly two songs dedicated to her in a Grease production is an interesting development.

Frenchy’s new song is written by musical supervisor Tom Kitt and Brian Yorker (If/Then, Next to Normal), according to Entertainment Weekly. See the trailer for Grease: Live, released January 15, below.
