Iggy Azalea‘s Digital Distortion era was off to a strong start with “AZILLION” and a few album tidbits to entice fans, but now the campaign has hit a speedbump before even really kicking into full gear. Azalea took to Twitter overnight to express some major frustrations she’s having with her label after they apparently refused to greenlight a video for the buzz track.

“My record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record ‘zillon’ wasnt good enough & im not allowed a video,” she wrote, before calling out her label boss by name. “Ted cockle doesnt wanna see me shine. what can i say.”

Azalea goes on to say that the execs want another radio-friendly pop star pair-up, which the aggro electro-rap of “AZILLION” clearly isn’t, and reveals she’s been trying to switch over to Def Jam.
