The queen of rhythmic sing-talking is back! Dev returns this week with new single “Lowkey.” Premiering on Wednesday (January 27) on Beats 1, the sultry song represents something of change of pace for the 26-year-old — at least from the snippet she posted on Instagram. “I need a girl who keep it lowkey,” the “Like A G6” chart-topper coos over sexy, sleepy synths. Think Selena Gomez’s “Good For You,” only naughtier and more grown.

After breaking through with the above-mentioned Far East Movement collaboration in 2010, Dev landed a solo smash in 2011 with catchy electro-pop anthem “In The Dark.” She followed that up with debut LP The Night The Sun Came Up (featuring Enrique Iglesias duet “Naked”), before taking a short break to raise her daughter. The sassy singer returned in 2013 with “Kiss It” and a pair of EPs. Listen to a preview of her latest hit below.
