Miley Cyrus To Star In Woody Allen’s Amazon TV Series
Miley Cyrus will continue to flex her acting muscle in 2016, as she has been cast in Woody Allen‘s upcoming Amazon TV series.
The “BB Talk” singer announced the news on Instagram last night (January 25) that was accompanied by a portrait of the famed director and this caption:
“Fuck yeah ! Stoked to be in Woody Allens first series!!!!! I had claimed 2016 to be my year of “chillin the fuck out” but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A. & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be a part of the cast and work alongside the bada$$ Elaine May and da dude himself!”
Allen’s six-episode series, which is currently untitled, will begin its filming in March. Miley’s new acting gig comes after her appearance in Bill Murray’s A Very Murray Christmas Netflix special that aired in early December. View the singer’s Instagram announcement below.
